I love Kevin and his beautiful daughter that run this long time New Haven eatery. Hands down the best fried seafood anywhere. It’s fresh, light, flaky, flavorful! Everything is home made from the hot sauce to the tartar sauce, yum. Piping Hot every time. Never ever been a miss for me. Every time I am in CT, I have to stop with my family.

Pic: I ate a couple lol. Over the years one thing Kevin's hasn't done is disappoint! Amount, taste, and condiments for shrimp! Aaaand as a Southern head I DON'T do coleslaw up north with tryin so many times, but theirs actually gives some southern spots a good run

If you want a perfect seafood and fries platter, this is the place to get it. Also, a great way to support a local business and obvious community staple. His customers know him by name and he recognizes them by name also. It was all positive energy.

My Fiance and I visited here three days ago on 3/1 & the seafood is always tasty! I had the fried belly clams and scallops for dinner with onion rings and fries.. My love just got a scallop box.. It's pricey but good & worth it.. My fiance has been going to this place since he was a kid he told me.. This restaurant has been around for more than 50 years! The owner & his father are good friends!! Definitely recommend to visit if your in town there.

There are some people who use food as a love language and that’s what these guys do. The lobster roll and clam strips were great, but the shrimp? It’ll make you see god. Get the shrimp roll and fried shrimp. Just do it. It’ll make you heart sing and your knees weak. My daughter was being a turd and the woman working helped us get a few minutes of quiet by turning on cartoons. These guys care.

Consistently delicious! Well seasoned with generous portions and don’t sleep on the desserts! The woman at the front counter is always professional and friendly. This place is a must! Get the shrimp + filet dinner with extra hot sauce! You won’t regret it.
